About Us

Welcome to Kittredge Park
Located in the heart of Boston, Massachusetts, Kittredge Park offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Nestled at Alvah Kittredge Park, Boston, MA 02119, this urban oasis is part of Boston's extensive network of parks, managed by the Boston Parks and Recreation Department.
At Kittredge Park, we are dedicated to creating and maintaining clean, green, safe, and accessible open spaces for all to enjoy. Our efforts contribute to the stewardship of over 2,300 acres of park land throughout Boston, including 217 city parks, playgrounds, and athletic fields.
Enjoy a stroll under the canopy of some of the 125,000 trees we care for, or participate in one of our many community events. This summer, don't miss the Tito Puente Latin Music Series, a vibrant six-concert event bringing lively rhythms to our Boston parks in July and August. Additionally, our collaboration with Roundhead Brewing Company and Fresh Food Generation introduces Alianza, a unique traveling beer garden experience.
For families, we offer a schedule packed with free movies in neighborhood parks and a variety of outdoor activities suitable for all ages.
Please note that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our Tree Removal and Parks and Recreation Commission hearings are currently held online. We are committed to preserving Boston's natural beauty, and any requests to remove a healthy tree require a public hearing.
Join us at Kittredge Park and discover the beauty and tranquility it brings to the community. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or an exciting day out, Kittredge Park is the perfect destination.

"Beautiful park with many chairs and benches to socialize and meet new people or play a game of chess or checkers given the presence of tables with chessboards. The park appears clean and well maintained. There are also tables for small picnics. Ideal for families, seniors, children and young people. Highly recommended."
