Reviews
"One of the best parks in Somerville. This park has lots of wildflowers, trees, bugs, and birds. It also is a historic landmark. Best of all is the view from the top of the tower; it is spectacular in the daytime or nighttime. Definitely worth the walk uphill/stairs. Careful though, it gets slippery in the winter!"
"Nice place to get away and walk, enjoy the view, sunbathe and read."
"Absolutely stunning area. The maps on the ground were great to connect us with history and help us envision the past"
"This hidden gem is still one of my favorites! Tucked in a beautiful Somerville neighborhood, this is the location where the militia retreated after the battle at Bunker Hill. The flag that flies here is the flag prior to the stars and stripes. You can walk up the stairs and circle the fort, but not go inside it. And there is a nice park to enjoy as well."
