Reviews
"We did 2 miles in 1 hour. It was an overcast day, 59 degrees with a little breeze and no bugs at all. An enjoyable trail with many boardwalks. There were lots of trees that have been knocked down during the last storm that were cleared from the trail. We saw several chipmunks, a squirrel, some birds and frogs. Make sure you stop at the scenic rock for a nice view of the river. Also make sure you stop at the two small waterfalls and take in the sound of the rushing water. So refreshing. Not much poison ivy on the trails which were nice and wide. Several huge boulders along the way. This trail system looks like it connects to another. We followed the AllTrails app."
"Great nature area in the middle of a bunch of nature areas(makes it easy to spend a whole day exploring. Fun fairly easy to navigate trails. The boardwalks are what make it special. Will get very buggy in summer."
"Plenty of trail options to do an out-and-back, or short loop, or get lost for the couple hours. Terrain is primarily flat and encircles bear pond, with some inclines if you go off trail to explore local features or several of the geocaches. A nice change up from my favorites in town"
"Great place for a hike. The trails are marked well, and itβs not too hilly. Watch our for the mountain bikes, they use the trails too."
