"Temple Israel is exclusive. My girlfriend is Jewish and I went with her a couple of times. As my girlfriend has a more moderate mindset, she was excluded and bullied. Imagine excluding people who are moderate mindset and calling yourself inclusive."

"Temple Israel Boston is always very welcoming and inviting. Temple Israel is very inclusive and is always finding new, innovative ways, to help people of all backgrounds, levels of Hebrew, and all Denominations, are equally important to the Community! The events are innovative and warm, and the Clergy are all very Learned, warm and friendly! Temple Israel of Boston, was my first choice when I was looking for a Shul to attend! I joined because my Uncle had passed away in January of 2015; and the Temple was offering a Class on Mourning and Recovery. I am also involved with the TILLI Temple Israel Life Long Learning Initiative); which offers many Older Adults the opportunity to learn and Volunteer their time to teach others about many different Subjects! There are Services held both Onsite and Online which allows for many people who wouldn't normally have any Community, accessible Online Services; so they can participate from anywhere! Temple Israel also has Outdoor activities and events, both on Shabbat and in our Fifties and Sixties Group, TILLI Classes and Luncheons, Youth Groups and Community Clubs, a Twenties and Thirties Shabbat Services, Dinners, and other activities, and a wonderful Child Care Center; which includes Children of different ages beginning in Infancy through Preschool age! The new Director of the FJECC, Amy Bolotin is knowledgeable about Curriculum development for all Students who attend this School. She is also very warm, inviting, and friendly! Amy Bolotin also encourages everyone to participate, including myself who is hopefully Volunteering with Preschool Children this year!"

"Very organized. Very explanatory on giving directions and answering your question. Lots of workers which guide you step by step from beginning to end. Very friendly and cortiously; patiently attention. Which help speed up the process and understand each procedure. Thank you! It helps for the relaxation of the person."

"Absolutely the least inclusive congregation I've been to. I attended services and religious school as a child, and when I came back as an adult for services (spirituality is important to me) the congregation was clique-y and uninviting. Last time I made this review, the synagogue called my boss and tried to have me fire. Now that I'm in a different job, I feel it's important to let the community know how unwelcoming this institution is."
