"So you're just going to let Cambridge fall into a downward spiral and call it being humane? Mental health services need to be provided. Bring back the drug unit! How dare this town government put the blinders on and act like there's no problem. It's not humane to just let people be in the street and not provide them with proper mental health facilities and services. You think you are being liberal but all you're really doing is taking those mental health funds and putting them in your own pocket and calling it humane. Shame on you"
"Needed my birth certificate so that I could get married in my town. Paid for it online, no where in the website did it state ID needed to be shown or provided. Simple mistake understandable, perhaps it is there and maybe I missed it? Alright no worries, this was on April 11. Did not hear anything was told someone emailed me, ok perhaps it was sent to me spam mail. Checked was not there awesome. Things happen ok, I emailed them and 14 days later I tell them I will just come in and get my birth certificate, I will bring in my ID. Go in today, was greeted nicely by a girl gave her my information. Another girl sitting at a desk said she had my stuff. Didn’t even look at my ID. Just wanted to say, thank you to the city clerk’s office for wasting my one day off from work. So if you didn’t need to see my ID why didn’t you just mail it when I requested and paid for it online 15 days ago?? Thanks for wasting my time appreciate it."
"Closing at 12 pm on Fridays is unreasonable. Many of us work and find it extremely difficult to make it there after work, especially on Fridays when people are given some leeway. It's perplexing how they expect residents to come when they're closed on weekends but close so early on Fridays. Lunchtime seems to be the only feasible option. Additionally, the time posted on the door is misleading."
"We recently got married here and everyone was nothing but kind and respectful. Our justice of Peace was Paula and was so kind and even got us married earlier than expected. I also really liked her standard vows, very well written! Thank you everyone for making this day so stress free and beautiful!"
"My wife and I got our marriage license here. Everything went smoothly, we were in and out pretty quick. Also as a wedding photographer, I've had the honor of documenting many small weddings & elopements here. At least during the times I've been here, waiting time was minimal (compared to Boston City Hall). You may not always get the big room on the second floor, but if you do, it is a beautiful space with super high ceiling."
