Reviews of Town of Winchester Water Department Historic Site
"Great trails for families, dogs and mountain biking. Some are more steep and rocky at this end. The trails near Wright’s tower are easier with more even gravel and dirt paths."
"Great place to hike. Peaceful, beautiful scenery. Lots of different trails to choose from. You may want to have a tracking app to make sure you know your way back."
"2022-01-19 wed, peaceful and beautiful. However one can't walk through from West Dam Road to South Dam Road. The passage was fenced off, some acrobat act required to climb under a bridge rail."
"The water treatment building stands alone in the lower lake. It was built circa 1890. It's understated, yet dramatic shape, allows it to complemrnt the natural beauty of the lake and the surrounding area."
"Nice little landmark in the middle of a peaceful forest and in front of one of the lakes. Looks old but well-kept and clean. There's usually ducks around."
