"Hot and sweaty..gross water and a smelly dog. Not my favorite place to walk my dog. He loves it there. It smell horrible if he gets in that water."
"Beautiful Trails, simple layout, you can easily spend 15 minutes or 2 hours hiking around this forest. Such a peaceful area. A good amount of dogs are walked here as well."
"Excellent for short hikes, dog friendly and a few good benches to sit, rest and enjoy the scenery. I use it all year round. Finding parking is easy too. Until last year the maps were a little off but they seemed to have corrected that."
"This is one of the best town forests that I’ve seen! It has good trail maps and the trails are very well-maintained. It is a large area with the Ipswich River running through it. We parked at the Wood End School and went on a short hike."
"I've been coming with the Reading BSA scouts and camped a few times in their special area. They put a lot of work into their spots. The rest of the forest is also in great shape, with less dog waste than other urban/suburban forests."
