"What a terrific way to spend a hot summer day. On a shady trail then sitting by the pond."
"This is the third time I have been on this Trail and I'm glad I came back. The first time I came was a short visit. I followed the trail to a chained off section and turned back and didn't see much. The second time I came I went to Becky's point then turned back. This time we completed the whole Trail minus one flooded area on the way back. I'm glad we came back. There were many vantage points with nice views of Foster's pond. We saw four swans, one toad, one fish and several birds along our hike. The bugs were not bad and there wasn't much mud. The trails are nice and wide, which we like. Several hills to climb but manageable. We came early afternoon and there was plenty of parking. We did 4 miles in 2 hours. I'm glad that I came back to see the rest of the trail."
"Very nice walk. Go to Bessie's point and the aptly named Journey's end. The ridge trail is also very nice instead of the main trail, just on right as you enter the reservation."
"Nice wide trail to hike with kids. A few spots with an elevation but an easy hike in general. The journey’s end trail takes you to Foster’s pond. The views are very nice. There is a bench to sit and enjoy the views and spend some time."
"Great hiking trails with a lovely pond, including islands with boardwalks. Wildlife includes beavers. Trails are mostly easy, with only a few hills here and there."
