"They don’t know what they doing there Rude ignorant and filthy"
"Better late than never to voice my opinion with my experience at this court a year ago and if I could put a zero I would. My ex- wife and I were there for our divorce hearing and the whole time this female judge was giving me attitude like I did something wrong. It was a clear form of sexism favoring other females. Luckily my ex-wife noticed it as well and was also surprised by the way this so called professional was treating me. It was a mutual agreed divorce and this judge just kept trying to coerce my ex-wife into asking for alimony. I can’t speak on the rest of the court system but this court room experience in particular was a disgrace and this judge should be taken out of this court room immediately with that nasty attitude."
"You may as well kill yourself before going here. Inefficient would be a compliment. There should be 2-3 “lawyers of the day”. They really need to use another metric besides first come, first serve. There are people waiting all day and never see the attorney. There are people in conference for up to 2 hours. While other people just require 15 minutes to have their paperwork looked over. Terrible system. Worse than the RMV. Another waste of taxpayer money."
"The family court system is SO beyond frustrating and unfair to good parents. Something needs to change. After a year and 3 hearings with Judge Peterson, who is clearly biased towards fathers, I ended up giving more child support in order to get an additional 3 hours with my child. Does that make any sense? Instead of judges looking at the actual situation and giving you more then 3 minutes of their time; they check their boxes and look at skewed numbers to dictate child support and custody time because there is always one greedy parent and one trying to be fair and logical. If you file contempt against the other parent for breaking the terms set, nothing happens to them. Not even a verbal warning. The judge claims tkjre being petty. So what is the point of having a court order if nobody has to follow it? If the mother doesn’t want to work; the judge won’t tell her to get a job. She will tell the father to pay more money because they only base it off X salary from the father and X salary from the mother. How about you take responsibility for yourself and your children? Mothers should not be automatically seaward full physical custody. The only way a father can receive physical custody is by PROVING the mother is unfit. This state is backwards. Something needs to change so that the parents who want to be with their children can be with them, equally and not have to go broke because their paying their ex a ton of money because they refuse to earn a living."
"I've called and talked to a couple of different people at the courthouse. I couldn't ask for nicer. More helpful people. They were able to get me in touch with a lawyer for the day to discuss an issue that I'm having. Everyone I spoke with was awesome. I think her name was Barbra from the clerks dept was absolutely fantastic she was so friendly. So helpful. And took the time. I didn't feel rushed"
