Reviews
"In summer, it's well-worth finding your way here. Boat needed, or hitch a ride from a passing Spy Pond kayaker. In winter, one might walk across (strong ice needed) by mid-February, or thereabouts. Let others test the ice first, but don't be afraid to follow. Ice hockey games underway, far out on the ice, bode well for a slippery walk. On the island, you'll ascend to the Island's lofty heights (approximately 23' above water level) and a flat area great for picnicking. You may also find a stick-and-branch hovel in various states of repair or disrepair (notably, no wifi or coldbrew). Though I was unable to convince my partner for an evening's stay, it would likely generate an interesting party story."
