"Absolutely the worst electric company with which I have ever dealt. They were a HUGE factor in my decision to move out of Norwood when my lease ended. Price increases in electricity were absolutely ridiculous during my tenure. I called a couple of times to have my meter checked because the electric bill almost doubled from month to month with no changes in use of electricity. I became so paranoid about my electric usage while I lived in Norwood because of the constant and unethical increase in bill prices from month to month. Even with my attention to electric usage, the bill still had ridiculous increases. On top of this, I would not get bills in the mail until after the due date had passed. I called about this (because the charge increased after a certain period) and they were incredibly flippant and unwilling to admit responsibility. The postmarked date on the envelope clearly indicated that it was their failure to mail on time and not the fault of the post office. They did not seem to care. After I moved out (August 2023), I did not receive the final bill until February 2024 when it was threatened to go to collections. It would have been nice if I received a bill or a phone call before that time, but I guess they operate on a system of actively trying to screw over their customers. I now live in a new town in a home with 3x the square footage and my electric bill is 1/2 of what it was in this town. To say this establishment only cares about money and delivers less than poor service is an understatement. I would provide a 0 star review if that was an option."
"The office has moved to a new location as of Jan 21 2020. New address is 136 access rd near the Norwood airport"
"On July 17th at approx. 5:20 PM, a lightning storm apparently blew out a transformer on our street, leaving the neighborhood without power. A repair crew from this Norwood Electric was immediately on the scene to assess the situation. In about 1.5 hours connectivity was restored by a crew who worked tirelessly in less than desirable weather conditions. A big hat tip to Norwood Electric workers, who are constantly working in the background, providing our community with a quality and remarkably cost effective resource."
"It's a small office and only a few staffs there. I spent like only 5min there to sign up an account. Quick and friendly!"
