"Be vigilant after storms! Eastbound lane of Minuteman Rail-to-Trail Multi-Use Path at Blue Bow St. sign and west bend of Frazer Rd. Arlington was of covered with large rocks and dirt probably from storm runoff. Cyclist (not shown) mustn’t have seen it in dappled light and went down hard and hit his head getting knocked immediately unconscious. Police and EMTs responded immediately and fortunately had quick access via Frazer Rd. to take him to the hospital."
"Great resource for people not only around towns but farther away as well. Walk, walk your dog, bike, skate, run, stroll, no activity limit or no age limit Most beautiful this time of the year, autumn Benches or make shift wooden railings if you are tired Lexington depot to check the history"
"Former train tracks, now paved path for bikers, runners, and walkers. Cars are never allowed. Runs through Arlington, Lexington, and Bedford. Well maintained including snow plowing in the winter. Very popular on the weekends in the summer. One of the highlights of the area, I’ve been running here for years. Keep your dog and children on a short leash due to frequent bikers."
"Long and exhausting but one of the best bike paths i’ve ever ridden. It’s 10 miles each way from alewife station to bedford, ending at The Bikeway Source. There is an extension beyond that if you want to go but I would rest on the benches in Bedford before making the return trip. Lots of pedestrians along the path also, so might be best to ride when people aren’t commuting home."
"Pros:It's a beautiful bike path Cons: lots of pedestrians on the bike path"
