Reviews
"Nice for a little hike in the woods on rocky paths. Some hills to climb on uneven surface. I’m sure it’s fun for some trail running. Quaint and seems not be too frequented."
"There is always something interesting going on at Whipple. Lovely place for kids to explore nature, walk the dog, and go birding! Resident Great Horned Owls nest every December/January. Real treat to hear their duets in the evening."
"2024-01-03 wed, Nature's wonders, many needle ice on ground and grass stems. 2022-02-14 beautiful & pleasant. up and down, left and right, meandering. 2022-01-23 sun, a perfect day for a walk with sun, no wind around 32F/0c. walk over to Wright-Locke Farm for nostalgic treat. many low stone walls & short boardwalks dotting the Hill. They are mesmerizing. 2021-11-18 like summer (72F) today, nice seclude little hills, about 2-3 miles quiet walk. 2020-12-23pleasant walk, very slippery, needing cleats. mostly dog walking."
"I love this place. It's bigger than the other nearby green places like Turkey Hill and this place has many great trails with nice rivers and creeks. Another nice feature is that there are two peaks where the trees clear out a bit which makes a nice open area. Trails are very easy to hike and this is the perfect casual place to do it."
"The pond here is amazing in autumn. There is also a farm, white houses, goats, and small ponds. I spent a pleasant afternoon here and enjoyed it from a very beautiful perspective!"
