"I went to the cemetery yesterday to pay Father's Day respects. I was shocked by the conditions! I couldn't even guess the last time the lawn was mowed. The grass was tall and overrun with dandelions and some sort of clover. There were ZERO trash recepticals to be found. Everyone's discarded items were just piled up by the water spouts. I was again, shocked by the neglect and disrespect of these sacred grounds. Awful... I have attached photos, but they are not the best at illustrating the conditions."
"Sadly, Immaculate Conceptions, especially on cemetery grounds are an all but forgotten practice of a bygone era. Even standard conceptions in cemeteries, which were at one time commonplace and quite popular, mostly among high school students and the occasional homeless couple, are in steep decline. I wonder if today's youth even consider cemeteries as viable conception areas, or have they set their sites completely towards indoor shenanigans for good (or for worse)?"
"Great cemetery. I have plenty French-Canadian ancestors buried here like Eugene and Georgina Belanger.BTW the Bible has much scientific accuracy like round Earth and jet streams and the hydrologic cycle and more!"
