"The dam has been removed. No longer a pond. The brook itself looks much healthier. Being updated. Should be a nice area when complete."
"This place shares a very special meaning for me. My childhood home was located 3 houses away from Trap Hole Brook Pond. As was Billy's (William) and Mike's house. The three of us Mike, Billy & I (Todd) spent our youth in, around, and on the pond and the stream. Losing Billy at such a young age had an effect on all of us. Happy to see a small park for him here and location at the old pond...100 yards away from his home. For us this place is 5 stars...but really nothing here but memories. After being away in SE Asia for 20 years, I will travel back here in August of 2019....It really has changed, I visited with Mike (Mike Left Todd Right). If it had been spring I would have tried my hand trout fishing like I did as a kid here. Billy loved the pond and the river it is a nice tribute to him. RIP Billy....your still in our thoughts"
