"Avoid the newer type 9 cars. The announcement volume is set way too loud. Even during Rush hour when the cars are packed with commuters it hurts the ears. The older type 7s are comfier to sit in anyways."
"The station is the same as all the others, it's a shame that the green train is so poor in its service."
"Not a lot of parking here. But another continent station I have used."
"What can I say, this is just your average MBTA station on the D line located in Downtown Newton Highlands. True rating = 2.5 stars This location has multiple sides for entrance and a heated Charlie Card kiosk. I sometimes get off here if I feel like just enjoying a more scenic walk than from Eliot. In the morning rush 80% all of the seats will already be taken so if you get on here expect to stand. One annoying issue with this stop is how far apart the platforms for crossing are and they are perfectly spaced so when the Train pulls in, it parks right over it! So you have to walk across the uneven tracks and still at that point if you are going Inbound to Boston you will have to wait until the train stops to desperately run to the front entrance. I've had several situations where I see the train is approaching but I can't run to the front of the train fast enough to get on!"
"This station was once really cool but the old Victorian station is now a dentist office. But the people who keep it clean and shoveled work really hard and Dona great job. A few public and private busses stop here so it can get pleasantly crowded in the mornings."
