"Beautiful park. Parking at this entry point was less than desirable. I got confused and drove through the gate. Apparently no cars are allowed. A kind man told me parking is on the road before entering. But not at the end of the road prior to the gate. I’ll have to return when I’m more physically able as the hill after the gate was too much to tackle, so I sat on the side of the road and watched all the dog walkers pass by. Presumably there is handicap access at another park entry point."
"This is a great local park with simple trails, minimal incline areas, a dog park, a few fields (soccer) tennis courts, water ponds and streams. The trails and park is well kept with a few muddy areas during the rainy seasons. It's been wetter than usual the last few seasons so there's an accumulation of water along the trail from flooding. Worth note to bring some waterproof boots or shoes if you can for the rainy days but that's part of nature. The dog park is popular with friendly dogs always coming through throughout the day. Everyone cleans up pretty well so there's not poo everywhere. There is also plenty of parking in the main entrance, and there are farmers markets during the warmer seasons on Saturdays. Recommend for all, old to young."
"Cold Spring Park is a great recreational area! It has two basketball courts with single rims, along with three full-size tennis courts as well. A baseball field, that could be used for softball or a little league. There’s also a massive field for soccer, lacrosse and or football. There’s even an out door work out area, which includes handicap accessibility to it."
"Less than half a mile away from the worst Whole Foods location in the region is one of the BEST hidden gems imaginable! This park is extraordinarily beautiful across all seasons. There’s ample parking across different portions of the park to situate you near your intended activity: trail walk/run, basketball/soccer, and the humongous open field. Just be careful not to drive too fast upon entering and exiting the park, as there’s a considerable bump. The trail is so beautiful and it’s heavenly to the senses: stunning sights with birds flying about and chipmunks and squirrels scattering around, and all the wonderful sounds of nature. There are exercise stations situated throughout the trail, with clear how-to pictures and guides. The trail is very well-maintained with not a single cigarette or bottle or other piece of trash to be found. I wish the trail was better-labeled; there’s random arrows on some trees but with no explanation or any context as to where those trails would lead. But this will quickly become one of your favorite spots to trail run, enjoy nature, experience a respite from the summer sun, and enjoy clean air away from the city."
