"This church had been linked with Saint Bridget in Lexington, but is now transitioning to an independent parish. There is no parking lot so you have to find spots on the side of the road which are plentiful. There are no pews to just chairs and nowhere to kneel The soundsystem is excellent. After mass, they have hospitality across the street. I was here for Pentecost where they had a possession with flags and a group speaking in tongues."
"Beautiful parish and parishioners and everyone Is just so very very warm and welcoming. We were fairly new since we had moved to Lexington everyone made us feel at home"
"Lovely church and community but had a bad experience 12 years ago and then yesterday. I'll just say what happened yesterday. Have been going here for Mass only occasionally as we go every Sunday to Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted [due to the 12 years ago experience :). Excellent community and priest]. Yesterday we went to Sacred Heart for mass at 10am as they used to have mass at that time in previous years. Went in and there was someone at the alter preparing for mass, I guess. He very sternly asked why we were there. I asked what time mass was and he said 10:30 am. Then I asked if it was "here" as I wanted to make sure it wasn't at St. Bridget. He said with an attitude "yes here. This is a church", (very condescending tone) as if I didn't understand I was in church and was illiterate. My husband said thank you and we left. Then I searched up masses at 10 am and went to St. Camillus in Arlington. The contrast in welcome we got there was incredible. The usher was so welcoming and after church introduced himself, asked if we were new to the area, and hoped we'd come there more often. Which we will. Completely different experience from the church we'd been going to in Lexington occasionally for 12 years."
"Nice community meeting place."
