"Image Care refused me treatment because I am transgender. The person who answered the phone when I called told me that they do treat transgender clients, booked an appintment for me, and advised me to pay ahead of time to get a discount. When I arrived the technician excused herself and came back a minute later with the owner. The owner told me that they would not treat me. She said that their refusal to treat transgender patients was because "they might say that are going through these changes but no really be." When I asked her why that should matter to them she informed me that is mattered "because they might attack us." She then told me to leave."
"I started going here about 8 months ago when i started working in somerville. i go for electrolosys on my eyebrows and i have seen many different people here because of my hectic work schedule and i have been so happy with everyone of them. they really listen to what you want and actually do that unlike other places where they just do whatever they feel like. i have an appt this week and cnt wait to go! thanks for being so great girls!"
