"We hired Sal to redo our retaining walls and our pool deck, and to build a fire pit. He was incredibly responsive, came to our house multiple times to take measurements, answer our questions as well as our 4 year old son who had many. He was nice, patient, and always available to discuss further, answer questions, or drop by to discuss different aspects of the project. We got a second quote given the size (and cost) of the project and Sal's quote was reasonable and his pitch convincing. It's also worth mentioning that Sal is on the job site daily doing all aspects of the work. He's not just someone giving a quote then dispatching a team. He started the project on time and his diligence and attention to details were remarkable. We were expecting him to just take out my wife's plants when redoing the walls but he set up a tarp with dirt and transported each plant and placed it there to preserve it (we did not ask neither did we expect him to do this). He took very good care of our house and cleaned up daily. Every time there were multiple ways of doing a certain aspect of the jobs he would come get us or call us and discuss the options with us instead of just doing it the way he wanted or that was easiest. Sal also took the time to take our son on Skid Steer rides like he does with his own children. He was in our backyard for almost 2 months and it was nice seeing him there and fun talking with him. We are delighted with the work and can't recommend him enough for all you masonry needs. He was ultimately recruited by multiple neighbors for their own masonry projects once they saw the impeccable work he has done in our yard. We would certainly work with him again and would not even bother getting a second quote next time."
