Welcome to the Community Congregational Church, a welcoming and vibrant place of worship located at 803 Boston Road, Billerica, Massachusetts. We are a dedicated body of believers serving Billerica and the surrounding cities, including Lowell, Chelmsford, Bedford, Burlington, and Woburn. At CCC, we are committed to living out the biblical truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and we firmly believe that you matter to God and to us!
Our church is a Bible-believing community where everyone is welcome to join us for worship, fellowship, and spiritual growth. We gather every Sunday morning at 10:30 AM to worship God the Father through His son, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Our mission is to grow spiritually alongside one another, offering encouragement, support, and motivation in the faith. We strive to co-labor with Christ to meet both the spiritual and practical needs of those around us, as we are able.
As a proud member of the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference, we are part of a denomination that is robustly evangelical and biblically faithful. "So I want to start by saying the congregation here was exceptionally welcoming and friendly on a personal level. I'm pretty everyone that took the time introduce, thank for me attending, chat for a bit. And the pastor did take the time for a one on one session to get to know me, listen to my story,and to discuss the the churches theology. Additionally we exchange fairly in depth e-mail regarding that one on one session (before and after). All of which I respected and appreciated very much That said, my only with church is that if you found this church while searching for a lgbtq freindly church in the area like I did, it may not be the best fit for you. During my conversation with the pastor i found out to my dismay, because of the church's theological stance on the lgbtq, opportunities to serve within the church were not to be. The pastor was fairly empathetic in explaining the church could not condone allowing someone to serve, that lived in a way conflicted the churches theological position. No one in the church had any personal issues with my being trans and as I said earlier were all exceptionally friendly and welcoming. If you are lgbtq and considering please knowing that there will be sermons that reflect that theological position, and that your opportunities within are also impacted by this position. I was present for one such sermon, and while it did prompt me to speak to the pastor, it didn't contain anything I felt disqualified this church for me. Ultimately it when I found out that being trans precluded me from serving within the church that I found myself continuing my search for a church elsewhere. All in all I would advise against this church for those who are lgbtq."
