"I just had Burns Masonry complete a chimney tuckpointing job and was very happy. I must have called a dozen companies and the prices were all over the board. Frank's price was reasonable and the service was excellent. I could tell that they knew what they were doing when they erected scaffolding around the chimney. Some of the other contractors were going to grind and point the chimney while hanging from a ladder -- impossible. Frank's crew was extremely polite, well-trained, proud of their work and long-term employees of Burns Masonry -- another indication that you're getting a quality job. It's been my experience that employee turnover and the use of subcontractors is the core of many problems on jobs. Overall, I was so pleased with Burns Masonry, that I asked them to quote another job."

"Contacted frank within 3 days he was at my home and providing a detailed quote. Might seem small but he was the only one out of 4 contractors who actually measured the space to provide an accurate and detailed estimate. He while discussing what I wanted with me made many recommendations and even mentioned ways to get the job done but at a lower cost. He had the estimate to me within 2 days and it was super detailed and broken down with 3 different ways to complete it. He was on time daily as was his crew. Work areas were cleaned daily. He closed up a broken window for us, redid a dirt floor with drainage and concrete, repointed and waterproofed our basement foundation, ripped out and fully replaced basement access stairs. He even noticed a window that was broken we didn’t and closed it up for no charge. He added a drain to the exterior steps at no charge wasn’t in contract he just knew it was needed, the steps he replaced had asphalt around them and he even repaired the asphalt at no charge to ensure no water would get into the area. He added window wells to a basement window set that had none. He finished the exterior with stucco and made it look so much better. I can’t not recommend frank and his team enough. He clearly puts professionalism and doing the right thing over profit and that’s rare to find today. I am so pleased and will be having him back next year to do a full retaining wall for me. Hire him don’t call anyone else!!"

We found rain in our basement after a bad storm and knew our granite foundation needed to be addressed. Frank and his team were very helpful in providing a quote for various aspects of the work (digging, repointing, and water sealing). He addressed the problem area and repointed the remainder of the room proactively all at once within our budget. They finished their work within the quoted time (even earlier because they were pragmatic enough to not overestimate), and now our basement is ready to be finished!
