"Our basement flooded with about half an inch of water after very heavy rains, roughly once per year. Sean came over and we determined that the water was coming in one corner of the house faster than the pumps could remove it. The solution we came to was an external drywell with pumps to a storm drain. A three man team came out and dug a big hole outside, two feet below the basement slab, and filled it with gravel and the drywell. Gary, Conn and Wallason were terrific: they were fast, careful and did a meticulous job. It took a total of three days and when they were done you couldn't tell they had been there. We've had two major rainstorms of 3" this month and the inside sump pumps are quiet and dry.
