"I want to share my negative experiences with Arlington Masonry as there are so many positive reviews that made me comfortable to use them originally but I have not appreciated their behavior toward me as a customer. I have a house in Arlilngton that has a lot of concrete steps that lead up to each side of the house. These were wearing down and cracking significantly in some places. Luke came out and gave me a price for the job and I accepted without haggling. I was informed the day before starting that they would be comnig to start work. Nothing was formally scheduled. That was ok since I work hybrid, but it may not be convenient for everyone to know last minute that they will be coming to do a job. The work they did was reasonable and there were two guys that worked in the 90 degree July heat to complete the job. I am appreciative of their work and am giving them a star for actually doing the work I asked for. Since completing the work, they have treated me with silence and if I hadn't actually seen them complete the work, I would think the company very shady. When they left, they left a pressure washer in my garage. I texted Luke immediately telling him I had it and they can come back when able to get it. Not a problem, and common for people doing work to leave items behind, but they typically respond and recover their property. In this case, my text was ignored and nobody came back to get it. I waited 2 weeks then called the main number for Arlington Masonry telling them they left their pressure washer and I would like them to come get it. That too was ignored. I waited 2 more weeks then sent them an email telling them I did not appreciate them using my garage for storage and their disrespectful silence toward me as a paying customer and that they should come get it immediately. That too was ignored. I am now at the point where I plan to just give it away. It is not something I need and is taking up space I cannot spare. If you need masonry work done, this company can do the job. But if you want a company that is communicative and that respects its customers, particularly well paying customers, this is not a place to trust. I expect to need more masonry work done in the future but I will not be using them again."

"Miles and his crew did a great job on a number of overdue masonry repairs including a new set of stairs, chimney repointing and multiple issues around the foundation of the house. Quality work scheduled promptly and finished ahead of schedule at a fair price. Very responsive to any questions and concerns, highly recommend these guys."

"Miles was very professional, responsive, and respectful. He assessed my chimney in a timely manner and was able to get his crew over to repair it the next week. They were fast, efficient, and did a beautiful job. The price was lower than two other quotes I received. ALSO, he removed a square of cement from my basement floor (which was necessary for the mandatory water meter upgrade) at no extra cost! I would absolutely recommend Arlington Masonry."

"I reached out to Arlington Masonry and Paving about an issue we were having with our brick brownstone; namely, water leaks due to substandard work by a different company the last time the brick was 'repointed'. Miles was quick to respond and come over for a review of the job, and to provide an estimate. He did not rush through the visit, taking time to explain what needed to be done (grinding out and replacing the mortar and repointing). We received a few estimates, and elected to choose Arlington based on the reasonable cost and the communication and customer service we received from Miles. Our choice was the right one - Miles and his team were totally reliable, beginning the job ASAP (a big plus for us due to approaching winter), and finishing it in a timely manner. Miles was *always* available by phone to answer questions, and also came to the job site every day to check in with us and the progress being made. The crew was hard-working and diligent and did an excellent job. We are so pleased with the work done by Miles and his team and will not hesitate to use them again in the future. I wholeheartedly recommend them."
