Kenny (owner of Precision Excavation Services) came to evaluate a large sloped yard for a potential flat deck build. We wanted to expand a tiny 8x8 deck into a larger 16x30 deck. The challenge was a boulder right in the middle of the project, on a slope, in between multiple hedges. He quickly evaluated it (and it turned out later, completely correctly estimated the hidden underground width, depth, and complexity of the boulder). He created a proposed plan to remove it, excavate the 16x30 area around it, move a few hedges so we don't lose them, re-use some of the larger rocks for an area where we were going to buy some stones, and level off the steep slope + grade it for water run off and usability. He gave us multiple options balancing cost, effectiveness, time, and practicality on what we could do with the excavated rocks, dirt, and and space. The end result was better than we expected! The work was skillfully performed, on time, with fantastic communication every day and before making any major changes. Kenny was available day and night, during the week, and weekends. He came exactly when he said he will, and performed exactly what he committed to in the exact manner he committed to. This was perfection from start to end. Kenny went beyond what was expected, helping us demolition the existing deck and move it out of the way. He went out of his way to a move a tree that had sentimental value to a family member to another location, and he leveled off an area that seemed "impossible" and made it usable. He removed the boulder, broke up the chunks, and skillfully distributed them under neath the extra dirt (as requested by us) to save us money on hauling it out, while still making it look beautiful. The end result was far better than we expected. I cannot even image hiring anyone else for this job!"
