"I used to come here with my family in the 1950s! The trees were not as tall as they are now. A quirky, fun place to visit. Few people know about this anymore. I now live in Virginia for almost 50 years, but this place I still remember!"
"Fun small landmark to visit. The Norumbega Tower is a stone tower erected by Eben Norton Horsford in 1889 to mark the supposed location of Fort Norumbega, a legendary Norse fort and city. The tower is approximately 38 feet (12 m) tall, composed of mortared field stones with a spiral stone staircase."
"Love exploring different historical sites. This was a quick visit as there is not alot to explore, but fun even so."
"The tower is nice to look at, makes a good motif for a photo. However, the view from the tower is somewhat disappointing."
"Norumbega Tower is in a nice location, but seems to have lacked care recently. Some trash and graffiti in the tower and trees have grown very close to the tower, hindering the view both of the tower and from the tower. Located in a nice wooded area with open forest floor and some game trails by the Charles River."
