"I had been going to this practice for 45 years & have always been pleased with the care that I received. I always thought very highly of everyone who worked in the office. When I started going there it was when Dr. Buckwalter & Dr. Papuga were the Periodontists. They both were very professional, respectful, had great personalities & took as much time as needed for everything from a cleaning to 3 gum grafts. The hygienists were fantastic also. I knew everyone in the office & they knew me. I was respected by everyone. There was a drastic change when Dr. Ubertalli took over the practice. I had my cleanings done every 6 months. I can count on 1 hand how many times I actually saw Dr Ubertalli. This has been going on for several years now. He should have examined my gums after each cleaning. He most certainly did not. The hygienist would do the cleaning & send me on my way. Many times the dentist wasn’t even in the office that day. So basically I was going to a specialty trained periodontist but ended up having a general hygienist clean my teeth. A basic cleaning done at specialty prices. The practice, itself, canceled an appt on me one time.Recently I had to cancel 2 appts because there were 2 deaths in my family one was a tragical, horrible death. When I called to reschedule, the secretary, who I believe was named Debbie, told me that they could no longer schedule me because of “multiple cancellations” I basically was told that I could no longer go to that practice. She was beyond rude to me. I told her that I couldn’t help it if 2 people died in my family, 2 weeks apart, causing me to cancel. She did not have one bit of compassion towards me or my family. She didn’t even have the decency to say that she was sorry. She was beyond mean to me, so disrespectful & treated me in such a horrible way! I was disgusted by her behavior! I couldn’t even believe that someone could treat another person, especially a patient, in such a disgraceful way. I would NEVER go back to that practice again. I have never written a negative review in my life but this place & their staff all deserve it, especially the secretary. She should be fired for her behavior. I was beyond appalled & will make sure to tell anyone that I can, not to go to that awful practice. The entire situation makes by blood boil. After 48 years of going there!! They disgust me!!"
