Reviews
"I second the previous review about this place. I received zero communication before my appointment aside from a generic confirmation text the night before and essentially walked in blind to the fact that I was going to owe money. Ive unfortunately had the displeasure of having had 3 previous root canals, so I kind of had an idea what I was in for. I walk in and was not greeted, in fact after I approached the receptionist, she just kept her head down reading an email. I let her know who I was and checked in, and I was greeted by no conversation and a clipboard with paperwork to fill out. I fill them out and sit down and wait till the assistant comes to get me. Once again, zero conversation, no semblance of even the customary pleasantries. Just points at the chair and tells me the doctor will be in soon. She continues to move about in silence till the doctor comes in 10 minutes later. He is generic and while shes putting the vest for xray on, hes jamming the mouth piece in with zero regard for me or my mouth. After that concludes he puts the qtip with numbing medicine in the back corner of my mouth for literally 5 seconds and starts stabbing my gums with novacaine. As he hits me with a second and then third needle, stabbing all over the place in silence and watching my groan, he makes a snide comment "youre really sensitive huh"? Yes, yes I am, when someones a butcher. I then sit in silence again as they move about and when the procedure begins its more silence for the duration, which was fine. We get to a point late in the surgery where I experience something new and different from my previous 3. He builds a shell around the bad tooth for some type a solution to flow through to presumably disinfect the exposed canals. He is trying to tell me about it while this machine is turned on next to my left ear, and I cant make out anything hes even saying. He says to tell him if i get a bad taste in my mouth which confused me, but after 90 seconds my mouth filled with this hot solution of what I can only describe as pure liquid chlorine. Im borderline choking and coughing and still, silence. Just cramming the suction hose in my mouth while water trickles in. I continue to cough and gag on this nasty fluid and he seems visibly annoyed, like Ive done something wrong. Makes another comment about how "now Im gonna have to redo the whole thing", as if I made the mistake. As the last appointment of the day, I was clearly keeping him from something more important! How dare I show up at the time they requested. Guy re-does the shell and then hes forcefully jamming this thing onto my tooth to prevent it from leaking again, with no apologies or explanation. Rest of the procedure is again rushed, and honestly I had no idea when he was done, he just put his stuff down and walked away and I hear him from outside the room telling me its over while he finds the post surgery care sheet. Hands it to me and sends me on my way after a brief explanation about how the family doctor may have more work to do on my gums. The tooth he repaired is now has a sharp point to it that hits my upper tooth while closing or chewing, and compared to the previous 3 feels as rushed as it was. He did text me at night to check on how it felt, but after how I was treated, I didnt dignify him with a response. Just like the surgery, it was forced and generic. Id avoid this place at all costs if I were any of you!"
"I am surprised by all the good reviews. The staff is cold, dismissive and clearly have no social graces or manners. The Dr, without ANY discussion or warning, simultaneously placed the X-ray apron on me while inserting the bitewing in my mouth. Upon review of the x-rays, he exclaimed something similar to - oh wow, this is bad. I wouldn’t recommend this practice to anyone."
"Had a great experience with Dr Weinstock and his staff. His front office/staff were kind, accommodating, and professional. We also have a similar taste in music (CCR, Elton John, Prince..just to name a few great classic rock artists) which put me at ease in the chair. You can tell he and his dental assistant have been doing this for a long time. He didn’t have to ask for anything - they were completely in tune with one another which also kept me at ease - their experience with one another is abundant. He also used a relatively new state of the art “Gentle Wave” device that uses sound waves and fluids to more effectively reach deeply into the canals. By getting into the smallest crevices of the tooth, it removes all bacteria, infected debris, and inflamed pulp that other systems/approaches cannot reach. Lastly - there was no pain whatsoever! I’ve had a root canal before that seemed hurried and was excruciatingly painful. Not the case here…I’d recommend anyone in need of endodontic care to Dr. Weinstock at Cobb Corner!"
"If there was an option for 10 stars I would give it. I gave birth and 2 days later was in the most pain of my life with a tooth that needed a root canal. Dr. Weinstock and the entire office/staff was so extremely accommodating, kind, and capable! I was in excruciating pain but Dr.Weinstock messaged me over the weekend to check in and make sure I was ok. I never thought I would be so passionate about posting a review for something so miserable to go through, but if you ever need a root canal, and you want an amazing experience - I could not recommend Cobbs Corner Endodontics more! I would travel over an hour just to use this practice!"
