"I attended a function in this historic tavern, beautifully decorated for the holidays. Very interesting place. The cocktail party was fun"
"Amazing trove of history in Westonwith a Tory slant. Lots of rooms and Katie Campbell knows all the interesting details of what life was like in Weston during the Revolutionary War period. Not just for school groups, adults learn so much about the history of Weston. Together with the Josiah Smith Tavern, GBT is a town treasure. The best time to go is during the winterfest, the first week of December, when it is all decked out for the holidays. The Barn Sale of odds and ends is another good time to visit."
"Not sure what it is besides a private tour of a amazingly old building that is only open for appt. BUT WE WALKED AROUND the grounds AND THE GROUNDS ARE LARGE AND BEAUTIFUL! "Tavern so well preserved and presentation brilliant. Shows all the different layers of a place resided by the Jones family for close to a 200 years. Well worth the visit. Like an archeological dig!"
"The annual antique fair was a lot of fun! Plenty of vendors and good variety."
