"YES ,there are lots of people and pets on the weekend. BUT everyone is responsible with their pets there. I never one ran into any irritating pet owners. BEAUTIFUL place to take photos and go for a nice walk."

"Beautiful place to walk. I wish there were more plaques explaining the history of the place. It appears to be extremely well kept and patrolled-- don't come thinking you're going to get into any of the buildings and go exploring!"
"Amazing creepy abandoned insane asylum. Dog friendly. There are no public restrooms. Look for the candles in the middle of the windows that arent boarded off. Be sure to take a camera. There's a lot to see and a lot of creepy photographs that can be taken."
"BE CAREFUL - The last time I went there was an uncovered manhole (see photos). This is a very creepy but peaceful place to walk around, thankfully it's open to the public! I have only been during the day because although I don't believe in the supernatural this place looks like a great place for that sort of thing. I could spend hours here looking in windows and taking photos but I haven't been back in a few years so I don't know the current condition. Just the architecture alone is worth visiting this site!"
