Welcome to the Plainfield Public Safety Complex, home to the dedicated Plainfield Volunteer Firefighters Association and the Plainfield Fire-EMS Department. Located at 38 North Central Street, Plainfield, Massachusetts, our fire station is committed to serving the community with excellence in emergency response and public safety.

Join us for the monthly meetings of the Plainfield Volunteer Firefighters Association, held on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM. If you're interested in contributing to our team as a volunteer firefighter, EMT, or medical first responder, or if you simply wish to support our efforts, we welcome you to attend any Thursday evening at the station.

We are thrilled to announce the return of our town’s beloved tradition, the 50th Barbecue, set for the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. Enjoy a delicious meal of barbecued chicken, local baked potatoes, corn on the cob, and more, all prepared by our volunteer firefighters and EMTs. Tickets are limited, so purchase yours early from any firefighter or online, starting July 4th.

The barbecue coincides with a host of exciting events, including the 45th Plainfield Road Race, the Shaw Memorial Library Book Sale, ArtsFeast, a firefighter’s silent auction, live music by the “Curtis Rich Revue,” and the annual rope pull. It's a day packed with fun and community spirit that you won’t want to miss.

Our commitment to public safety extends beyond emergency response. With your generous donations, we have improved our equipment and resources, such as upgraded radio technology and vehicle stabilization tools. This year, we seek your support to purchase a commercial washer/extractor and dryer to ensure the safety of our firefighters by effectively removing contaminants from their gear.
