"Staff is nice. They tend to accidently charge you for blankets when you don't use them. It's happened twice. But it was fixed both times quickly after a phone call. I wish I could return the truck to a different uhaul but there the only place that had a 26fter."
"I gave this 1 star so I could actually post the review… I would give it 0 stars. NEVER do business with U-Haul Moving and Storage of Salisbury, MA (1 Merrill Street). Weeks ago I made an appointment to have a tow hitch put on my car in Salisbury. They offered June 4 at 11:00. I checked with the store from which I bought my new e-bike (Western Cycle in Seabrook) if that would be a good time for them to attach the hitch and have the bike ready. (They, by the way are a WONDERFUL shop with which to do business - please visit them if you are interested in e-bikes). Told that that time worked for the shop, I confirmed with U-Haul that the 4th would be great. Got there today - and the bottom line from the horrible sales guy - was they expected me on another day and had no time to do a tow hitch today. I calmly explained that I had an appointment to have the toe hitch put on today and another appointment with the bike shop to get hitch installed and pick up the bike. Again I was told that they couldn't do a hitch today. No acknowledgement of a mistake on their part, no apology. In fact, they made me think that I had messed up. I reminded the sales guy that I had to drive over 60 mikes to get there...was there anything that could be done(?). Nope. The bike shop, only 4 miles away, was TOTALLY sympathetic, confirmed that they were indeed expecting me and that I had made the arrangement weeks ago. The totally WONDERFUL sales guys there, comped me a water bottle holder for the bike because they had given me a bad recommendation for the tow hitch. So, even though there was NO FAULT on Western Cycle's behalf, they felt compelled to provide excellent customer service to their buyer. GET IT, U-HAUL?? By the way, I tried to post this review on the U-Haul site, but guess what....you have to jump through hoops to enter a review and, apparently they get to review and decide whether or not to post. Hmmmmm....It's a pretty big facility there in Salisbury. They don't really need the business, I guess."
"Called and spoke to John at this location and he went over and above the call of duty by actually mailing a receipt of a tow dolly that I purchased from them in 2021. John is the assistant manager and is a reliable dependable guy that will not let you down. This location is highly recommended for whatever service that U-Haul does provide for it's customers."
"Just went there with my mother, and I had the urge to get a lock. My mother said that she couldn’t get me one because she used the money for the truck. The guy at unsullied actually GAVE me a lock that was already used, which is alright, and gave it to me along with the keys. I promised him I would give the uhaul place 5 stars. They are also a great company, just to put out there."
"Used Uhaul to install a new trailer hitch on my Jeep. When they installed the hitch the first time the wiring was drooping over my exhaust and also contacting the exhaust in another area. I brought my Jeep back a second time and they kept it for 3-4 hours to fix the issues. I got home later that night and found they had not replaced anything. Fast forward 2 months later and the wiring has now melted portions of my battery box. Do not allow this place to touch your vehicle. It has cost me over $1,000 to fix not including the days I have to take away from work. Horrible experience if I could post with a zero star rating I would."
