As you making your way towards Lawrence amount of trash around you might overwhelm you if you are a person that use a trash can at home. I would not blame you if you decide turn around after hundred yards and walk back to your car. This place could make you loose interest in anything the town of Methuen might have to offer."

I grew up in Methuen and have spent many days walking the railroad tracks wandering aimlessly (way back when it was mostly tall grass, rusty metalwork, trash and heaven&hell knows what else...). Over the past few years it has been great to see it transform into a much safer trail. Certainly boasts everything from history to diversity, well worth the venture!"
