"Had a nice time with my family here they allowed fishing which was nice. Has a lot of chair and tables so cookouts are easy. Only thing to look out for is it tends to get full so get there early and secure a spot. And the water kinda smells bad but it’s a lake what do you expect. And there playground is nice and kid friendly recommend for everyone"
"Been going to this park since 2014, before they started charging for entry. It's never been a nice park, it's small, close to the road, and run down. Not sure what they plan on doing with the funds from entry fees, but the park looks the same as it has for years. They put up a perimeter fence recently assuming to keep people out without paying. Definitely not worth paying for it's current condition."
"You now have a penitentiary style iron gate surrounding the park, you can't get in, and they claim they are too understaffed to man the gate, so they intend to keep the entire park closed while they figure things out. Season starts Memorial Day according to the Season pass I purchased, but access is denied. They also removed all of the public usage grills. I hope things get better."
"Really nice park. Has 2 separate play areas. One for older kids and one with less stuff for smaller kids. There's benches, charcoal stations, a cabin to get out of the sun or rain (no working bathrooms) trails and a skate boarding area too. It appeared to have an undercover or off duty police official maybe keeping an eye too. Which may make some people and families feel safer. My and my son had a great time."
"I only went here for the hiking trails. There is no map of the trail. It is a short trail and not peaceful considering you can hear the cars from the road as well as very loud construction coming from someone. The park just seemed to be dirty. There was a dead fish in the water. I will not return"
