"Perfect old school spot. People there understand how to talk to customers - you always feel welcome and comfortable. I usually get the steak bomb which is my favorite in the city. Baked goods are nice, especially the eclairs. Highly highly recommend!"

"We stopped in for the first time in several decades as I don’t live in the Northeast anymore and my Italian cousins no longer live there either, and my Italian parents are passed away. But we used to go here as a family outing to get good Italian bread and pastries, the food quality is still superb, better than in the North End of Boston, and little Italy in New York. The staff was fun and engaging too, especially when we started talking about my relatives and the old days. Thank you for reminiscing!"

"The best pizzagaina around! We make sure to pick one up for every Easter for the last several years. It’s one of our favorite parts of the weekend and the whole family expects it from La Cascia’s now. They sell by the half and whole but trust me you need the whole pie!!!"

"Coming from Florida, this is a great local Italian Bakery that you simply cannot find in the South. We got a slice of pizza, cannoli, tiramisu, and cookies. The pizza was fresh and super soft. The cannoli was hand filled as it was ordered, and the cookies were soft and bursting with flavor. They also have pizza rustica for Easter for sale! I loved seeing that as someone who makes it homemade every Easter. I would definitely come back the next time I’m in Medford."
