"My wife was super uncomfortable with the mechanic here. She went for an inspection. He told her she needed new tires and brakes to pass inspection, and that it is “extremely unsafe to drive”. She doesn’t know cars and neither do I, but she felt like this guy was being sleazy and creepy. She also got new brakes this spring. She told him she wasn’t going to fix it right now. Then he asked her if her husband “speaks car” and that he is happy to talk to him on the phone. She ignored that and just wanted to leave at this point. Another mechanic was making fun of her as she was pulling the car out of the garage, “you got a fail, you got a fail.” Then, and here is the kicker, they passed her. Incredibly confused and weirded out, she went to Lincoln Gas down the street. Lincoln Gas checked the car out and said it was fine, noting that her brakes look new (because they are) and even filled up her tires with air for free. Do not go to this place. Lincoln Gas is just down the street. Go there instead."
"Went to get gas. My brother was still in the car. I went to ATM to get cash to tip the gas attendant. So he never pumped the gas. At this time my brother and I are in the store together car is still at pump getting filled up correct no wrong. My brother asked why they weren't filling it up they said no money no card no gas. I said yes sir I went in to the ATM like I just told you so I can tip the gas attendant. Why aren't you adding gas. You know the reason. I look like I didn't have money. So that's why they didn't fill it up or add gas. After that I realized I was being profiled and judged by the employees. Please don't use this place EVER. THEY DON'T DESERVE ANY BUSINESS. ABSOLUTELY ONE OF THE WORST BUSINESSES IVE EVER BEEN TOO."
"Not a shell!!! Owners are very pushy with women, and tried to get us to replace our brakes as it was a “dire emergency” when we just needed gas and a quick exhaust inspection. Got more aggressive when we turned down the brake services. Drive a bit further for gas if you can, and don’t go here!"
"We took our car here for inspection. The mechanic insisted to us that the brakes were worn and were “extremely dangerous to drive on”. They could replace them very quickly for $300. They also told my wife that she should “just talk to her husband” about this. We refused the service and went to another mechanic that we trust who told us that our brakes had plenty of life left. We used to fill our gas here, but won’t anymore."
"Don't do inspection here. Minor rust spot - failed. Green license plate - failed. Even failed for his supposedly hearing an exhaust leak, which proved not to be true. [I had it checked out. Negative. He even put it up on his lift to prove me and my mechanic wrong. Negative again.] What a hassle!"
