"Service manager Sam provided us with the worst auto repair service we have ever received. We have a 2 year old Chevrolet silverado high country truck. We broke down on the highway and had the truck towed to their rt 44 location in east providence RI. Where they misdiagnosed the problem. Then Repaired it for $8700 after over a week. We picked up the truck and made it 4 miles down the road where it broke down again. We called Louis in the service department and he asked us what we did to it??? He did not help us get back to the dealership and said we are on our own. We had it towed back for the second time at our expense. The next day we called to check on it and they were still working on it. They called back at the end of the day to say it had 2 spun bearings needed a crank shaft and a radiator. We paid 75k for the truck 2 years ago. To “help us with this situation” they offered to give us 23k broken or 30k repaired. Then pay another 48k to buy a new one. Im a 75 year old veteran. I thought that this would be my last new vehicle and cannot believe how the Paul Masse Chevrolet dealership tried to take advantage of me while stranded in the area on vacation from Florida. They still have our truck we have no vehicle and are stranded in the area 2 weeks later while they treat us like trash and “wait for parts”. We contacted GM and they approved the repair we are waiting to see how things go from here. We appreciate GMs help but this dealership has displayed nothing but bad faith through this experience and we would recommend avoiding them at all costs."
