Hertz Car Rental - Randolph - South Main Street HLE

"If I could give this establishment 0 stars, I would. This is by far the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I booked my rental well in advance. Not only did I have to wait almost one and a half hours in line to be serviced, but I was also informed that the car I had booked was overbooked and had been given away. What makes this situation even more comical is that I heard the employees debating on which customer to give the car to, with one of them saying, “We should give it to him (me) because he was here first and his booking was made before his.” This is absolutely ridiculous. I wasted money on Uber fees just to get to this location for NO CAR. Terrible customer service. I’m not sure who you are hiring, but this location needs a complete revamp. Fire everyone and start from scratch."

"This is by far the worst service ever. They over book their cars, they aren’t helpful to customers and they have horrible attitudes. You’re better off going to enterprise where you’ll actually get good service. Hertz is a terrible company that should shut down all locations. If my insurance didn’t have a contract here I would be enterprise in two seconds."

"Don't rent with Hertz at this location. Check Better Business Bureau for customer complaints. Terrible customer service and they won't honor you with the vehicle you reserved and paid for. Furthermore, they don't care whether you're a Gold member with 5 star status. The employee who work there on Saturday 6/15/24 is terrible and claimed to be" a manager in training". He was rude and nasty to all the customers who were there. Refused to call his manager when I requested one. I eneded up calling corporate and they canceled my reservation. I went on to rent at Enterprise rental car that day and followed up with a formal complaint and dispute against Hertz at Better Business Bureau. This lack of customer service is unacceptable and their staff/lack of training/leadership are to blame."

"Extremely unprofessional staff, and mishandling of a rental reservation through my car insurance. I made a reservation through my car insurance DAYS in advance, and even called the day my insurance made it, to confirm a car would be available the day/time I was picking it up. I was assured by someone that a car would be available for what I was looking for. Come the day of the rental reservation, I call an hour before pick up like I was told to, and someone answers and tells me there are no longer any cars available. I was shocked, and the person who claimed to be a "manager in training" was extremely rude and said it was first come, first served and that it was a busy weekend with graduations. I called the Hertz customer service and was told that should not be the case and a car should have been waiting for me since I had a reservation. The person I spoke to continued to be rude and dismissive. I ended up having to run to another location before they closed, and they accommodated me right away. NEVER choose Randolph Hertz."

"The girl who calls herbself 'Black Chyna" might be the worst individual to ever work in customer service. I called the office to get the extension and exchange the vehicle and she said that her office doesnt do that and that all her vehicles need an oil change. I counted at least 11 cars in the lot. Eventually i was able to call another office and do the extension over the phone. This girl locked the door at 4pm. I will never be renting with HERTZ ever again. Now i see why they are closing down."
