Reviews
"Great hike threw the woods to see some nice views of rolling mountains, bear creek and the river"
"Good view of the industrialized nature where the old nuke plant was. The lookout is well crafted and a quiet spot to view the easterly direction. The trail here is very easy to pass and pretty short. There's almost no trash or other pollution to the spot. Very very pretty."
"It was a pretty short hike, the view in winter time is spectacular, and you can even see where the old railroad line use to be"
"The overlook of the Zoar Gap that this hike provides is very little effort for the reward. This is a very short hike that's a little shy of half a mile. The hike to this outlook starts at the trail head for Spruce Mountain. The walk takes you past high tension towers, and there is a decent view here at the power lines. Continue into the woods where the dirt road becomes a trail. About a quarter mile down the trail you'll arrive at the overlook. Soak in the view, and then if you're up for some more consider a hike in the other direction up to Spruce Mountain."
"First time visit to this area of Vermont. I visited a house under construction then we went off road to this hidden gem. Best to get there with a 4 wheeler but also many hiking trails to get you to the top."
