"I don’t even know where to begin. My mom and I went here for my senior trip and did a section hike partially in the Smokey mountain national park. The trail was challenging but I would give anything to go back. I have never experienced anything like this before. Ever since I left the trail I’ve been planning another trip back. We stayed at a hostel at the end of our trip. The Appalachian truly is magical. We got to experience a little bit of trail magic as well, as I had forgotten my jacket at a previous campsite and another family grabbed it and brought it to the next stop. Somehow we stayed at the same shelter that night and I was mind blown to see they had brought it!! We didn’t see any bears but there was plenty of other wildlife. I would highly recommend anyone who is considering visiting to do it."
"Here's where nature makes us understand our vulnerability in the hands of Earth, there's where we understand the spec we form in the universe and who is really in charge of letting us share Earth. The nature wonders at the end of each path is worth every step of the hike. Not for beginners, Hiking Sticks Highly Recommended and rope, try to visit in groups."
"I only saw one section of the trail. It was so pretty, looked well marked out. I'll do part of trail in the future for sure."
"Rain and winds but I wouldn't want any other way."
"The Appalachian trail that goes through Massachusetts over Mt. Greylock has absolutely the best views. There are restrooms, storm shelters, there are rooms, bunk rooms, at the top you can eat and buy refreshments. It is one of my favorite places. You can hike it, drive it, snowmobile it weather permitting. Bring a picnic and a sweater you won't regret it."
