Reviews
"Difficult hike for the first mile and a half or so, steep gradient and then it is less strenuous, great vistas from the summit. Awesome view of Mount Greylock right next mountain over."
"Great hike. Many side trails allows for almost full privacy. Great reward to find the falls"
"Did Money Brook Falls trail. Plenty of parking on a busy fall day. Port-a-potty at the trailhead as you head off. The trail was fantastic. Moderate, well maintained and well marked. A trail little over 3 miles each way out and back to the falls. There were some steep sections that required a bit of a slow down, but otherwise was moderate to easy-moderate. Well worth the hike in to see the falls, they were great!"
"*we are not beginners* Great challenging hike especially in January. It was 15-11 degrees F out. Peak felt like 5 degrees with windchill. Only part that was cold was our hands if we had to take our gloves off for a few seconds. During our Journey from the start of Hopper RD. To Mount GrayLock, on our way down, we took Appalachian trail south but it ended up being north making us go the wrong way. We took another trail that was very long with snow 2ft high to Hopper trail. With only a map in our hands since our phones died from the cold we ended up finding Hopper trail. What was supposed to be a 5 hour hike turned into 8 hours. Still fun"
"The trailhead is a beautiful place in its own right. I highly recommend the Haley Farm Trail to Stony Ledge, or for a more ambitious hike, continue on to the summit of Mount Greylock."
