"The younger looking manager with braids and ten feet long eyelashes, has the worst attitude. Her whole team looked miserable and did not work efficiently as a team. Causing a long wait time for well over twenty plus costumers in house and in dining room. Parking multiple cars to wait over 45-60 minutes for orders. The younger manager with braids was screaming at her team, berating them in front of costumers and talking about them to costumers. She really needs to be demoted and retrained she should not be able To run shift solo if she cannot handle it, this is coming from a fellow former Popeyes employee personally if I was employed at this location and had to work that shift I’d be beyond miserable and quit"
"This Popeyes is one the best ones around here (hint not to many around RI) adding to Mewport Ave convenience. Restaurant is clean and the cashier was top notch she’s very nice, polite and professional. Bummer didn’t get her name to add to this review on Saturday 5/18"
"I usually love Popeyes, but this location is not it. I ordered my full meal including sauces at the speaker because I truly only want this food if I can have it with the good ranch (call me whatever you want but I’m particular). If I know ahead of time they don’t have ranch, I’ll leave and get something else which is why I ask about it at the speaker. The person helping wasn’t super friendly but that’s fine, she didn’t say anything about the sauce or anything I requested being unavailable . Drive up to the window and pay. Wait far longer than should be necessary for my food. She hands me my bag with no sauces, so I asked again for some ranch. She proceeds to tell me “they ain’t got no ranch today” after I’ve already paid, so now I’m stuck with this food and no sauce. Fine. I get home and the food order is not even correct. Bread on my sandwich is stale and falling apart. Fries are soggy and cold. This is the second time I’ve been to this location and the first experience was quite similar to this. If you can, take the trip to their providence or north providence location. Service and food quality is much better."
"Like every other Popeyes I go to this place is so disorganized. Even going to the counter near pickup to ask for dipping sauce takes 5-10 minutes. You would think seeing someone at pickup making eye contact with you would be enough for someone to ask if you need something. Instead people ignore you. You have to ask multiple people multiple times for the same thing. I would have thought a new location would be better organized and have owners/investors ready to impress but I was wrong."
"After trying Popeyes for the first time a few weeks ago at another location, I was thrilled that one was opening closer to home. I understand that this store opened a week ago, so my review is based on my first experience with the food from my first experience vs the food I received tonight. I ordered the blackened chicken sandwich combo. As you can see In the pictures, I received some manner of left over orphan piece of chicken. It was over cooked, very small, and very disappointing. There was one bite taken out of the sandwich when I took the pictures. Fries were so so, didn’t seem to have the same amount of seasoning. I ordered a chilled mango lemonade. I got some rather bland lemonade, no mango. Another drink was incorrect entirely. My wife and son got the same sandwich, and while smaller than expected there was at least some substance to them. Chicken tenders and nuggets were really good. Mac and cheese was great. Service was as expected for a new opening, long lines, etc. I’ll give the store some time to settle in and continue training, before I return."
