"The train station is completely closed on Sundays even if there're trains scheduled. There's no space to wait inside and no benches to sit outside near the railways. To access to the train I have to guess the path outside with my bags and suitcase."
"It will keep you out of the elements. You can not buy Amtrak tickets here. A few local buses and the Peter Pan bus has stops here. There is a small cafe with drinks and snacks. If the elevators are not working, you will need to take 3 flights of steps to train below or to the street above. I saw two staff people there. They answered questions about the local buses and monitored the bathrooms. Quite a few elderly people with mental health disorders wandering. In general, the town looks like it has no money to pay for basic services you would expect to see, even in a small town. The people make up for it by providing these themselves. If you are staying in a hotel, ask if they have someone who can pick you up. They will hook you up to a local who will drive there or to the car rental place. You will have to depend on the kindness of strangers here!"
"Had the most amazing woman named Sherry from the cafe, who allowed me to sit there from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. til my Peter pan bus came. She was absolutely amazing human!!"
"This station has almost no seating outside near the track. There are no instructions on how boarding works so when people walk in everyone is asking each other what is going on and no one knows because there is never anyone there to answer questions. At least post a sign to explain how it works! Also, tons of people just hanging out (not wait for a train) without masks. Pros: it is very clean (excellent work) and everything seems well maintained. Just not enough seating outside and instructions."
"Come prepared with your own meals, transportation and grace because the station is very limited and the staff behind the windows appears overwhelmed and very unhappy. However, this is balanced by the workers working around the station who were a blessing and a pleasure to meet at a time of need. They were very very kind and helpful!"
