"Not sure if this is commentary on the station, or the ignorance/lack of valuation of the dollar by the average newburyporter. I've seen gas prices here upwards of $0.99 higher than gas stations the next town over. Hell, even the full service mom and pop shop down the street undercuts these stations significantly. I'll forgive a station in a convenient place for charging a bit more, but gouging is another thing. I avoid these stations as much as possible."
"Prices are always the highest here of any Shell station I EVER goto. I'm a Shell fan but I only ever fill here if I'm desperate. I know it's convenient right off 95 rt buttttt... and not 5 or 10 cents like 30 sometimes 40 cents per gal more for v-power. Why?"
"This is the shell i go to every morning with my buddy from work and i can tell u Khan and his son who basically work the overnights into the next morning are amazing and professional! We always have good laughs with them when we go in their! Keep up the great work guys! Highly recommend this Shell location!!"
"The nightshift dude is a real…well you know. Its no a habit that i run in an issue with this dude each night he is working. I dont know what his problem is. At first i thought maybe he just had a few bad nights. But i come in here a lot and its CONSISTENT. He makes the environment so unwelcoming. My female friends/girlfriends refuse to go in there with him, they rather drive extra and go to Cumbies in Amesbury at night. And apparently im not the only one who thinks so. Me and my friends stopped going there for movie night snack runs, or gas if we had cash at night. He stares at you out the window when you pull up in your car, and when youre leaving. As if annoyed you are still there. if youre picking out snacks in the isles he comes over and watches you and audibly huffs and puffs like youre wasting his time. So you feel rushed, as if theres anyone else in the store. I have male set ptsd and this man WILL not hand you change or pick up unless you hand it to him, and his hands are always clammy and weird. Its also a pandemic. And that wouldnt be bad if he wasnt so rude about it. Leaving your items purposely out of your reach, being verbally inappropriate. In all my years of working ive never seen someone so unprofessional. Everyone else is usually so nice, and the old nightshift kids were pretty decent. The moes girl is awesome. I dont know where they got this old guy, but they gotta get rid of him."
"It is 2022. If a woman spent $70 on gas and coffee and water and needs to use the restroom, and you have only single stalls, and the restroom is locked for over 10 minutes I'm not sure why it's treated like such a sin to use the men's room when it is available and there is no line. If you think there is an issue, then I'm sure you will not understand my thoughts and roll your eyes. And FYI-the screaming and door knocking was also a special touch. This happened to my mother who is 72 and tiny and not exactly an intimidating character but I saw what was happening while purchasing my own coffee at your kiosk. So, welcome to 2022 Storey Ave Shell. Let's not be so 1922 about gender and restrooms-or have more than one stall? Or just be polite and respectful to your paying customers--as usually your staff is kind and friendly and this was just extremely upsetting."
