"Had a lovely meal at Cunard Tavern in East Boston on a recent trip. Especially delightful was the friendly, knowledgeable and creative bartender, Grace, who surprised us with beautiful and tasty cocktails of her own invention. Will definitely return on our next visit."
"I’ve been here a few times over the last couple of years and it’s always a great experience! The drink menu changes often but it never disappoints! Servers are attentive and the food is very tasty! Highly recommend stopping in here if you’re in Eastie!!"
"I wanted to love this place as it’s close to home, looks beautiful and the menu sounded super tasty. However, the cocktails were tasteless and the food was subpar. I ordered the burger and it was dry, it has no sauces or anything to make it less dry. Plus the toppings were very few and the burger itself was so burnt, which is not an excuse for a well done burger, I’ve had hundred of well cooked burgers that are not charred. I had a piece that wasn’t as burned and it also tasted like nothing, it had no flavor which was sad. Then the fries were barely done and some of them were a bit raw. And the place wasn’t even crowded to blame it on that, there were maybe 4 other tables. My partner ordered the steak frites. The chimichurri was good but the steak was also tasteless and had big chunks of fat. Will probably return because there aren’t as many options in the neighborhood, but will only order beer and maybe try some other app. Very underwhelming experience for a place with so much potencial and a great menu (on paper)."
"Great "local" spot. Great service. Plentiful street parking within two blocks of restaurant. EXTREMELY cold on a cold night. We wore our coats during the meal. Food was excellent, plentiful and reasonably priced. Drinks were reasonably priced. All-female staff was pleasant, engaging, attentive, welcoming. I would definitely return in warmer seasons..."
