"Wow this is an amazing park with plenty of scenic trails. The view is particularly stunning. The most difficult marked trails are not so bad if you’re hiking, coming from a first-timer. No entrance fee, definitely recommend. The entrance is a bit hidden but it’s just farther down the street from Church on the Hill. If you get lost, the locals are incredibly friendly and they’ll direct you to the right location!"
"Expansive forested park in Lenox. I have parked at Arcadian shop and made a loop in central part of the park. I have had a bit higher expectations about viewpoints (neighboring Pleasant Valley Wildlife sanctuary certainly has them). Otherwise, trails are well marked and wide, multiple mountains bike trails."
"Great hike with multiple trails and gorgeous fall foliage/scenery. There’s a lot of land to cover and fitting for all outdoor adventurers. There’s paths that are kid, family, bike, and hiking friendly. You can do a quick hike or keep it longer by getting lost with the many trails!"
"Parking area for about ten cars. One picnic table nearby. One bulletin board with minimal information on it besides the usual warning about the risk of Lymne disease. Poorly indicated hiking paths, but yes, the woodlands traversed are gorgeous and peaceful."
"I Love Kennedy Park. Beautiful in all seasons even in it's bare trees in winter and spring. It sits on the edge of the village of Lenox so you can get there from the village on foot or by car. Enter by the drive just past the white "Church on the Hill" at the top of the Hill in Lenox as you head towards Pittsfield or at Arcadian Shop ( great outdoor clothing and eqipment with lovely small cafe) just further North on Rte 7. They may have maps - or you can download one. There are two main wide trails and many smaller ones. The map will help you do a loop - otherwise you likely don't need one. Popular with locals and those with dogs. Dogs allowed on leash. Great for a quick short walk or longer 1-2 hour walk or ski. For long walks you can connect with the trail to the Audubon Bird Sanctuary. Photos from mid April."
