Egremont Fire Department

Welcome to the Egremont Fire Department, proudly serving the communities of Egremont and Mount Washington, Massachusetts. Our dedicated, all-volunteer team is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents and providing mutual aid to our neighboring areas. We operate out of two stations: Station #1 located at 175 Egremont Plain Road, Egremont, MA 01258, and Station #2 at 36 Main Street, South Egremont, MA 01258.

Our department is equipped and ready to respond to emergencies and provide essential fire prevention services. As part of our commitment to safety, we conduct Smoke and CO Detector Inspections and issue necessary certificates as required by the 527 CMR - Board of Fire Prevention Regulations. Please note that effective immediately, these inspections will incur a fee of $50 per visit. Should a re-inspection be necessary, an additional fee will apply.
