Nestled in the picturesque landscapes of Hillsdale, New York, the Berkshire Hills Sculpture Garden offers a unique fusion of art and nature. Located at 82 County Road 7D, our museum is a testament to the creative vision of sculptor Matt Thomases, who has transformed tranquil farm fields into a vibrant outdoor gallery.

Spanning 15 hilly acres of scenic farmland, the garden features an exciting diversity of sculptures, showcasing Matt's fascination with motion and flotation. As you stroll through the grounds, you'll encounter an array of artworks crafted from various materials, each telling its own story. The garden's layout, which includes woods, hedgerows, and a seasonal stream, provides visitors with stunning views of the Berkshires, including the iconic Catamount Ski Slopes.

Among the remarkable pieces are three towering stained glass and stainless steel sculptures, standing between 12 to 16 feet high. These works captivate with their dynamic interplay of light and color, shifting hues as the sun moves across the sky. The collection also boasts abstract human figures in bronze and fiberglass, dance motions crafted from curved steel rods, and smaller bronze sculptures on distinctive bases.
