"Perplexing why a public clock displays a different time on each of its four faces (not in account for different time zones... they are just out of synch). Plaque to commemorate those fallen in the United States' numerous wars (WW2, Korea, Vietnam, and one more[?]). This clock must be the participation trophy for those who would have led productive civilian lives in town but who instead got caught up wars far afield."
