"I was a victim of a violent crime in 2016 that nearly ended my life, and Amber was my primary. For a little over a year after that incident I was scared that everything that was happening to me physically was related to said traumatic incident. She nearly yelled at me one day, saying that I was obsessed with my injury. I was not! I was 25, I was still figuring my life back out physically and emotionally, and what was and was not related to that incident. She clearly was annoyed at my working through the process of going through something so traumatic. I had never felt so betrayed or unseen by anyone in my entire life. Adding that onto everything that I was going through, made for a re-traumatization on everything I had worked so hard on. Anyhow, I left her office crying. I sat in my car and cried. I thought about reaching out to see if we could work through it but it was so horrifically rude and insensitive I never ever turned back. I found someone who would never treat me that way.
